Agency of Canada
The Public Health Agency of Canada (PHAC) website is a Government run site that focuses on the health of the Canadian population. The PHAC works collaboratively with participants at the municipal, provincial and federal level to allow Canadians to live healthier lives, have less health discrepancies and create a stronger management of public health activities. The mission statement of the PHAC states that they wish “to promote and protect the health of Canadians through leadership, partnership, innovation and action in public health” while preventing and controlling diseases/injuries, preparing for health emergencies, applying international research to develop health programs and strengthening approaches to public health policy and planning (PHAC, 2014).

Registered Nurses' Association of Ontario
The Registered Nurses’ Association of Ontario (RNAO) is the professional association that represents registered nurses, nurse practitioners and nursing students in Ontario. For the past 90 years, the RNAO has advocated for healthy public policies, they have promoted excellence in the nursing practice, and have also influenced decisions that affect nurses and the public that they serve.
